Swiss "DS-76'' Modular sofa by De Sede 1970

€5.995

S-76 was designed back in 1972 by the Swiss company De Sede, at that time it was regarded as revolutionary, as no other sofa bed featured a simpler mechanism. The model can be converted into a guest bed or daybed in just a few simple steps, without any mechanical assistance.

The sofa was made with the best quality leather and finished by hand with high levels of craftsmanship and eye for detail.
The black leather has gotten a wonderful patina and looks amazing.
The corner element shows some traces of age cracks (See close up) but still in very firm strong condition.

The sofa consists of 5 modules that can be arranged as you desire in a matter of minutes
You can create two 2-seat sofas and a single lounge chair or a large straight 5-person sofa, any combination is possible.
The sofa still has its 3 original De Sede matching black leather patchwork pillows that look amazing with the sofa

Belted spring suspension on seat and the frame made of solid beech.
Each sofa element can be converted into a guest bed or daybed and back to sofa in a matter of seconds
A very high quality piece of Swiss design that is most comfortable and most pratical.
